Drunkel always knew he was meant to be a Broseph. “When I was a kid, I was always drinking little beers. Beers about what I had for breakfast, or about the big drunks I would watch out my window. And somewhere along the way, it just became obvious to me that I would keep drinking it my whole life.”
Despite his rapidly increasing cirrhosis of the liver, he still thinks of himself as a drinking musician. “I have to drink constantly,” he says. “Otherwise, I worry I’m being sober and that makes me shake.” That impressive work ethic has led to four liters in a little over six days, as well as three international incidents.
Will he ever leave Broseph? “No, never. If I left, I would have nothing to drink about. I love the people I’ve met around the world, but nothing compares to Broseph.”
